Amazon.com Has the Best Black Friday Deals

Black Friday is in full swing, and it's hard not to know it with the constant stream of commercials on TV and Black Friday E-Mails pouring into my inbox.  I think many people have forgot that a few years ago this day was simply known as "the worst shopping day of the year," and the main idea behind it was people shopping for Christmas presents early.

These days "Black Friday" is an event that is all about competition, stampedes, and probably some early Christmas shopping still in there as well.  This year as I checked out the deals at various stores, nothing really stood out to me as worth getting up at 5 a.m. or anywhere in that time frame for.  15% off, 30% off, are those numbers really enough to set up a tent outside a store for?

One of the main parts of Black Friday that I was interested in was seeing what kind of crazy deals Amazon.com would offer, as they usually let you vote in rounds on some mega deals, and then offer the deal that wins to select people.  I never got offered but was still hoping to catch something one day.  Well this year all of that is off, and Amazon has been doing Black Friday deals all week on various items.  Nothing really stood out until today, and Amazon is throwing out great deals left and right.  They put something up, then show you what % of the item has been claimed, once it's at 100% the deal goes away.  We're talking 5 dollars or less for DVD's, Blu Rays for 10, and video games at 50-80% off here.  The video games especially stand out, because these are new games that are hot yet majorly discounted.

So if you have the itch to shop on this worst day of the year, yet shutter at the thought of crowds and parking nightmares, I highly recommend shopping the Amazon.com Black Friday Deals.
